We are a long-standing company servicing communities at the shore—past, present, and future. To better serve our customers we have compiled a list of frequently asked questions in order to keep them well informed.

How long will my heat pump or air conditioner last?

The average lifespan of a system is 15 years. You may get more or less out of a system depending how hard it is used.

How often should my air conditioner be cleaned and serviced?

Ignoring routine maintenance on your cooling system may result in expensive repairs down the road. Servicing once a year can prevent damage to your unit, and can prevent a disruption during the heating or cooling season.

How often should my AC filters be changed?

Filters should be changed once a month to keep airflow strong. Low airflow will reduce system effectiveness and may damage the unit.

How much water do I lose on a leaky toilet or drippy faucet?

The average loss is 50 to 100 gallons a day. This will increase your water bill, and if you have a septic system, a leak of this volume could cause a failure of the system.

What could be contributing to high water bills besides a leaking faucet or pipes?

A leading cause in high water bills is a leak in the toilet tank, this typically result from worn parts or improper alignment of some part of the flushing mechanism. It is very important to stop the leak as soon as possible.
